Question on bento box search tools

Hello All, I am looking to implement a bento box search tool similar to what is on https://libraries.indiana.edu/ or https://www.lib.umich.edu/ when you search something.

Does anyone know where I can find a good site to learn this or how to implement it.
The UI/UX elements of a bento box are relatively simple and straight forward. Pulling the search results (intelligently sorted by relevancy) is very difficult and non-trivial.

I am trying to find what current bento box search tools exist….

Some problems importing *.hdf5 files in MA12.2

I’m attempting to Import datasets from a *.hdf5 file into Mathematica 12.2 in Win 7.

After looking at the syntax in the Wolfram Documentation Center and displaying the StructureGraph, I had no problem importing some of the datasets, from various levels, using Import["file.hdf5",elem]

However, the one dataset I’m really interested with, just gives me $ Failed, with no additional explanations. Suggestions?

I can look at the data in this dataset using an app called HDFView. It looks fine, a spreadsheet similar to those in the datasets that were imported.

using Import[file, {{"Dimensions", "DataFormat"}}], I do notice one thing that is perhaps a problem? The format of one column is "bitfield". Using HDFView, this column includes values of either 01 or 00. Is this the problem and can it be solved?

Two of the other datasets in this files I also can’t import, but at least I get a warning message:

LibraryFunction::fpexc: Numeric data containing a floating point exception (NaN or Inf) encountered.

When looking at these datasets with HDFView, they indeed contain some NaN values. Is there a way to import them?

get_the_excerpt doesn’t work with default items but works with my customs post types

the excerpt function not work in my custom post template using WordPress default posts in the query loop, but they work fine with custom post type.

I enabled the display of excerpt by checking the "excerpt" option in the post options fields.

I also added "add_post_type_support(‘page’ ‘excerpt’)" in my function.php file but it doesn’t working.

I suspect a problem coming from the database because the excerpts are displayed when I test the website locally with Xampp.

Here is a snippet of the code used in my page template:

<div class="container">                      <div class="row">                         <div class="col-lg-9 col-mg-9 mp-blog" style="padding-right: 24px;">                                                 <div class="row">                                  <?php                                 $  paged = (get_query_var('paged')) ? get_query_var('paged') : 1;                                  $  args = array(                                   'post_type'=>'post', // Your post type name                                   'posts_per_page' => 6,                                   'cat' => 26,                                   'paged' => $  paged,                                 );                                                                  $  loop = new WP_Query( $  args );                         if ( $  loop->have_posts() ) {                             while ( $  loop->have_posts() ) : $  loop->the_post();?>                        <?php the_excerpt();?>                        <?php endwhile;                              $  total_pages = $  loop->max_num_pages;      if ($  total_pages > 1){          $  current_page = max(1, get_query_var('paged'));     ?>     <div class="custom_pagination">        <?php         echo paginate_links(array(             'base' => get_pagenum_link(1) . Repairing buggy query server-side – without changes in the app

More external apps are accessing our ERP SW database. As we were adding some columns into our structure, some queries from the external app become buggy because they are not specifying the targeted table in the query and errors out with Ambiguous column name… message.

The app vendor is inaccesible. We cannot repair the query from the app point nor change our structure (it’s for more customers).

Can we do something at the database server level?

Securing a replay-based leaderboard system (as much as possible)

A few years ago, I implemented a basic online leaderboard system in one of my games that sent encrypted score data over the wire. The encryption keys were stored in the game client’s binary. Of course, the leaderboards got hacked the same day they were released.

I have now released a new game on Steam, and I’ve worked hard to implement fully-deterministic game logic and a replay system.

The replay system works by simply replaying the user’s input that was recorded in a previous playthrough. The fully-deterministic game logic ensures that the replay will work on any machine, independently of the game’s FPS.

Now, it is time for me to implement online leaderboards.

My idea is to create a server version of the game executable which receives replay files over the network, replays them on some remote machine, and adds the score to a database if the replay data is valid.

While this prevents cheaters from simply sending a fake score to the server, it opens up many other cheating avenues, including:

  • Tool assisted creation of replays, either by slowing down the game speed or by manually crafting a replay file after reverse-engineering its format (the game is open-source).

  • Taking someone else’s replay and sending it over the network, changing data regarding who the replay belongs to.

I could somehow encrypt and compress the replay data before sending it over (or saving it on the user’s local machine), but since the game is open-source, it would be easy to reverse-engineer the encrypted replay format.

What is a good way of securing a replay-based online leaderboard system?

One possible idea I had is to have the server generate an encryption key / token for a specific user which is only valid for a small amount of time, send it over to the client, and only accept replays that are encrypted with that key. This would prevent users from uploading older replays to the server, but in theory it should work — am I missing something?

Can I integrate an exiting blog platform into my website

I had asked this question on Software Recommendation but did not get any answer.

I am working on an e-commerce website, which is developed in ASP.NET MVC… I want to build a blog for the website and add some content to the blog to improve website’s ranking in the Search result.

I want my blog to be reached using: my-site.com/blog

Is it possible to integrate an existing blog platform such as Medium or Blogger into my website?
