I have a MSI PS63 Modern with a NVIDIA 1650 and installed Ubuntu alongside Windows 10 Pro.
In Windows 10 Pro I connect the laptop to my LG monitor (27UK850-W) using HDMI and I have the 4K resolution as expected. When I do this in Ubuntu I can only use a 1080p resolution on the same monitor.
I already installed the latest NVIDIA drivers, tried to add a new resolution with xrandr (the LG monitor goes black and I have to restart) and also reinstalled Ubuntu twice.
Has anyone experienced something similar and can help me?
