I’m building an mmorpg using UE4 on the client side with a custom server solution. My target is to build server only data in UE4 editor.

I’ve struggled a bit and created an ASpawnPoint actor class that inherits from AEditorUtilityActor, and added a widget component to it for displaying the name of the spawned NPC. Had a lot of issues, things dont tick in editor, the widget doesnt update in editor etc.
What is the best way to approach building such tools?
