Elan Aegis total power points

An Elan gains:

Naturally Psionic: Elans gain the Wild Talent feat as a bonus feat at 1st level. If an elan takes levels in a psionic class, she instead gains the Psionic Talent feat.

Then she takes level in Aegis so Wild Talent became (or change with) Psionic Talent. (In this personal case the DM asked she to spend 1 feat to take Psionic Talent, not automatic.)

Then she would like to take the 1st-level power: Empty Mind and so she uses 1 feat to take Wild Talent feat (again) and 1 more feat to take Unlocked Talent feat (Prerequisite: Wild Talent).

Now she can choose one 1st-level power: Empty Mind

The question is: this is a correct path? And if is correct, how many power points she can add to the normal amount (Aegis level progression + Int modifier + psionic aptitude choice) coming from psionic features? Wild Talent: +2, Psionic Talent +2, Unlocked Talent +2 = 6 or 8 (Wild Talent 2 times)?

Can someone help me optimize my Elan Psion (3.5)?

I’m currently playing in a 3.5 game in which the DM plans to take to very epic levels (65). My current character is level 30, and he’s an Elan Psion (Shaper). He has the power psychic reformation, which allows him to reselect feats, skill point allocations, and power selections for 50 xp per level backwards he wishes to reform. It’s an extremely powerful campaign, and our ability score generation shows that (5d6, reroll 1s and 2s, add highest 3). I’m conserned that my character is underperforming, and would like to know what I can do to optimize my character. I can essentially re-select feats, choose new skill point allocations, and new powers known. What is your recommendation?

Note: Our enemies have been chaotic in nature, (LvC campaign, we’re Lawful), and generally focus around chaotic outsiders. Our enemies tend to have high AC, ridiculously high saves (compared to my DCs, which at the moment is Power Level + 27), and extremely high DCs (in the high 50s and 60s). They also usually sport a SR that has me rolling 18+ in order to defeat.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Edit: My current ability scores are: STR 21, DEX 22, CON 22, INT 44, WIS 16, CHA 16

My current feats are: psicrystal affinity, overchannel, talented*, psionic meditiation, extend power*, boost construct, psicrystal containment, twin power*, power penetration*, expand knowledge (schism), greater power penetration*, enhanced elan resistance, epic manifestation, improved overchannel, empower power*, maximize power*, burrowing power*, epic psionic focus

My current saves (with buffs in parentheses): F +29 (39), R +27 (37), W +30 (40)

Edit 2: My current feats and powers shouldn’t matter, as I can restructure them anyway. For the purpose of what I’m asking, let’s pretend I have 7 non-epic feats, 4 epic feats (21, 24, 27, and 30), and 3 epic psion feats (23, 26, and 29) available. I also have a total of 56 powers known (5 up to first level, 4 up to second level, 4 up to third, 4 up to fourth, 4 up to fifth, 3 up to sixth, 3 up to seventh, 3 up to eighth, 26 up to ninth) available.

If anyone would like more info, just let me know.

Can a psionic-but-no-manifesting creature use psionic powers? such as Elan with some Aegis class level?

Can a psionic-but-no-manifesting creature use psionic powers? such as Elan with some Aegis class level. Normally not but there are some “tricks” Such Elan’s trait the character gain “wild talent”. As he choose to be Aegis “wild talent” become “psionic talent” ( described in Elan section). At this point he must spend 1 talent more for “Unlocked Talent” feat and gain ONE first lv psionic powers (described in chapter 5 Ultimate psionics)…. but if GM consider it appropriate “psionic talent”=”Unlocked Talent” (In campaigns where psionics is more common-place, it is recommended to remove the prerequisite of Wild Talent from Unlocked Talent and substitute the Unlocked Talent feat for Wild Talent to represent how the ability to manifest powers is common within the world.). It’s all right? And then spend one more talent to gain “Access Psionic Talent” and learn five 0 lv powers. Right?

Pathfinder Elan aegis

The character starts at 1 level as a 2hand weapon human Warrior and grows up until 10 level chosing: Proficiency with selected weapon, Greater Weapon Focus with selected weapon, Weapon Focus with selected weapon, Weapon Specialization with selected weapon then, for a GM’s alchemy, the PC discovers to be and Elan gaining some psionic abilities. The PC starts to handle psionic Powers and change class from 2hand weapon Warrior to aegis. Now the PC reached the 2level as Elan Aegis. Can he take/choose the “Greater Weapon Specialization”?

Is my “Elan” homebrew race balanced?

We’re having a competition, the least over powered homebrew race that last the longest against the Gnoll Lord. I made this, also, if it is unbalanced, please tell me what I can do to fix it.

“What is that?” “That sir is your newest soldier, and it is hungry for battle.” “But what is it?” “We haven’t thought of a name for it yet. It seems to be a new race.” “Can I name it?” “ I guess…”

-The conversation between General Uzumaki and General Noah

Physical Description. The Elan have bright red wings on their backs, one large eye in the middle of their head, and they have arms that if were 5 inches longer could drag on the floor. They also have sharp pointed teeth.

History. They were just discovered, their history is quite unknown, although a water damaged scroll was gifted to General Noah, he was able to make out the following, “No other God would accept us, until Gond came around, he turned us into expert crafters and blacksmiths-“ And its true many Elan Clerics take to the forge domain.

Race Names. Typically, they do not have names, and they find the concept quite alien and almost amusing, but when a name is required, they use names like these:
Male: Granite, Flint, Steel, Metal, Gravel, Stone (and other rock or metal names)
Female: Rose, Daisy, Lily, Chrysanthemum, Daffodil (and other flower names)

How to add support for touchpad elan 0628 in current 19.04 ubuntu

I recently acquired a Lenovo IdeaPad L340-15API that works mostly OK with the exception of the touchpad (and the wireless interface, but I already fixed that). Looking around I found several similar issues for people with other Lenovo laptops, all with ELAN touchpads.

One solution that appeared was to use an specific kernel, but that is an older version than the one given in Disco. Looking further, it looks like what needs to be done is to patch the kernel adding this version of the touchpad to the drivers/input/mouse/elan_i2c_core.c, and looking at the latest commits on the Linux kernel, this model of touchpad has already been added to de driver, just in a future version of the kernel, here it is.

So, how do I add support for this touchpad in the current kernel of Disco?
