How to fix,the rest api encountered an error

Site Health reporting:

The REST API encountered an error(running php 7.3, wordpress 5.4.1,bluehost) Performance The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

What are the most commonly encountered languages of Golarion?

Pathfinder campaign starting soon, I’m playing a human arcanist with high intelligence, which lets me take a bunch of languages.

So far I have Common (automatic), Thassilonian (from Scholar of the Ancients trait), Goblin and Giant (at GM recommendation), and I need to pick 3 more.

It seems the setting has dozens of languages, which I suppose is realistic. Which ones are most likely to be useful in practice? The campaign starts off in Sandpoint, if that makes a difference.

Number of subarrays of size k or less are encountered during Quicksort on average?

I am reading the book Analysis of Algorithms. The focus of chapter 1 is to analyze the running time of the original Quicksort algorithm. The code of this algorithm is given in the book.

public class Quick {    private static int partition(Comparable[] a, int lo, int hi)    {       int i = lo, j = hi+1;       while (true)       {          while (less(a[++i], a[lo])) if (i == hi) break;          while (less(a[lo], a[--j])) if (j == lo) break;          if (i >= j) break;          exch(a, i, j);       }       exch(a, lo, j);       return j;    }     private static void sort(Comparable[] a, int lo, int hi)    {       if (hi <= lo) return;       int j = partition(a, lo, hi);       sort(a, lo, j-1);       sort(a, j+1, hi);    } }

There is an exercise at the end of chapter 1 asking the number of subarrays with size k or less.

How many subarrays of size k or less (not counting subarrays of size 0 or less) are encountered, on the average, when sorting a random file of size N with quicksort?

For simplicity, I will only count the subarrays with the size exactly k. My approach to this problem is building a recurrence equation. Let $ C(n)$ be the average number of subarrays with the size k encountered during quicksort. We have $ C(n) = \frac{2}{n}\sum_{i=1}^{N-1}C(i)$ . Simplify this equation using the same technique in the book, we have $ C(n)=\frac{n+1}{n}C(n-1)$ . Because $ C(n)=0$ with $ n<k$ and $ C(n)=1$ with $ n=k$ . So by expanding the equation and canceling the factor, we have $ C(n)=\frac{n+1}{k+1}$ . So the answer of the original problem is $ (n+1)(\frac{1}{2}+…+\frac{1}{k+1})$ .
Is this a correct way to solve this problem? Did I miss something in my arguments above?

I’m on ubuntu 16.04 64 bit unity, tried installing php7.3 because I need phpredit library and doesn’t work with xampp, that version of php isn’t in apt, tried installing it from a third party repo, was left with this error., followed the accepted answer

Now I get

SharePoint Designer encountered an error during setup

I’m trying to install SharePoint Designer 2010, 32bit. The installation gets all the way to the end and then says

“Microsoft SharePointDesigner encountered an error during setup. The file {901….1CE}C\OfficeMUI.msi could not be found”.

The workstation is 64bit Windows 7 Professional, with Office 2010 32bit.

Other places give conflicting information as to whether 32 or 64 bit designer should be used when connecting to SharePoint 2010.

Identity Client Runtime Library (IDCRL) encountered an error while talking to the partner STS

I Installed the latest SharePoint Online Client Components SDK (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42038).

I created a web form application and referring the Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.dll and Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Runtime.dll.

When i try to access sharepoint list sometimes it can works, but sometimes return me the error below: Identity Client Runtime Library (IDCRL) encountered an error while talking to the partner STS.

Does anyone know how to resolve the problem, thanks.

Errors encountered when trying to upgrade 17.10 to 18.04

Last night I tried to upgrade my Ubuntu Mate 17.10 to 18.04.

I used the console to get it going because the regular update software kept saying it failed to fetch updates and to check my internet.

The update seemed to be doing great, ran smoothly for over an hour and then suddenly froze solid. I could move the cursor but couldn’t click on anything. I didn’t see any other choice but to force restart it and when I did it booted to black screen where I could move the cursor but nothing else happened.

I used alt ctrl f3 to get logged in, and ran sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade –fix-missing which then quickly went to work on repairing whatever went wrong.

However that ended abruptly with the screen I shared above, the last couple lines said:

Processing triggers for libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0: i386 (2. 36. 11-2)… Errors were encountered while processing: xorg.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks so much for your help in advance!
