Who to connect in filezilla with provided ftp credentials ?

Filezilla doesn’t run vscode

When using the FileZilla client as an application directory (link), I can right-click an html file on a remote server –> View/Edit and it will opened in my predefined editor (e.g. vscode).

BUT if I use the FileZilla flatpak version, then I get the following error:

The file ‘index.html’ cannot be opened: The associated program (/usr/bin/code) could not be found. Please check your filetype associations.

I can run /usr/bin/code from the command line, but it doesn’t work with FileZilla.

FileZilla cannot open certain folders in Ubuntu 18.04

I installed LLVM and its components on Ubuntu 18.04. After installation, I wanted to see the installation files to verify them.

The files are located in separate folders in /usr/bin and identical folders in /usr/lib/llvm-8/bin, but when I click on any of the folders, Filezilla responds:

Error: Directory /usr/lib/llvm-8/bin/clang: no such file or directory Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Whether I navigate to subfolders in /usr/bin or /usr/lib/llvm-8/bin I get the same error message.

I kept the compete installation dialog from Putty for each of the components when I installed it and there were no error messages.

What does this mean?

Thanks.

Filezilla asks for key (which doesn’t exist), only in my laptop

When I try to connect to a FTP server with Filezilla, it asks for a password fo unlock a private key, which I never configured. The site is not configured to use keys.

If I enter my key password it works, but I’m worried, is this secure? Why is it asking my private key if I never configured it?

Other sites don’t ask for this key.

Thank you.

Can’t install Filezilla, can’t locate package

I run sudo apt-get install filezilla on Lubuntu but it comes back saying it can’t locate the package. Specifically E: Unable to locate package filezilla3

I’ve tried updating, clearing, and updating again, but it can’t find it. Haven’t been able to find anyone else with this problem. FileZilla says to try using the package manager to get Filezilla. I tried their binary, but it asks for me to choose something to run it. I do get a few lines during an apt-get update that say it can’t initiate connection.

Oh and I tried ./filezilla with the binary, it said file not found.

I am using version 19.04 of Lubuntu.
