[ Law & Ethics ] Open Question : Is Trump right for congratulating daughter Tiffany on finishing law school or no?

“Congratulations to my daughter, Tiffany, on graduating from Georgetown Law. Great student, great school. Just what I need is a lawyer in the family. Proud of you Tiff!” “Just what I need is a lawyer in the family. Proud of you Tiff!” Trump said Wednesday in a congratulatory tweet. Tiffany, 26, is Trump’s daughter with his second ex-wife, actress Marla Maples.

Can you trigger a Finishing Blow off both Compromise AND Unmasking?

The dueling rules on P.159 of the core book states:

The first time their opponent becomes Compromised or unmasks during a duel, a character may immediately execute a finishing blow.

Does this mean you get to perform a finishing blow the first time each happens or one happens?

EG. Tonbo Testdummy gains enough strife to become compromised so Kitsu killhappy immediately performs a Finishing strike. Unfortunately they are forced to keep enough Strife Symbols to become compromised their self. Tonbo-san Unmasks to avoid the dice penalty for remaining compromised and potentially get a better roll. Does Kitsu-san get to attempt a second finishing blow?

Starting and Finishing time of Tree Edge, Cross Edge, Back Edge

There is a certain relationship, when DFS search for a tree traversal occurred. Say if an UV traversed. Then relation between it’s start time and end time is enter image description here

Now, my question is if u start early, then should finish early. Right? Then how start[u]end[v], means u finishes late. How is it possible?? Similar for back edge and forward edges too. Only cross edges u start time and finish time both in late. So, it is matching my viewpoint.Plz explain:

Never finishing…

I’ve noticed this on several addons, but most recently (just moments ago) on Link Extractor.

I was just doing a quick search to learn the addon…first time using it.  As is the case many times, it’ll almost finish…..but won’t.  It will just sit there forever until I go to the task manager and stop the process.

Any ideas?

Finishing a phD in USA? [migrated]

I studied in Europe some times ago but didn’t finish my phD dissertation. Recently I finished it and I published in a math journal. I never studied in USA, but I have been living and working here. Is it possible to finish this phD with the same results that I have found, or I have to start all over again? Any idea would be welcome. Thanks for your help.

Where should I position CTA or link for finishing chat conversation?

This “Zavrsi!” is link to feedback section of chat and that link should finish chat. Where should I put that button? There will be messages in the left side from customer support. Also I cant add that button to the header of chat, because I have logo and button for closing chat modal. “Napisite Vasu poruku” is placeholder for input field.

Finishing touches on using ubnutu as router

OK, so I’ve got most of it working, but can’t quite close the loop. I’m running ubuntu 18.04.2 on my raspberry pi 3. I’m trying to use it as a wireless access point, but not as a bridge. I followed this guide https://learn.adafruit.com/setting-up-a-raspberry-pi-as-a-wifi-access-point/install-software which has me using hostapd, however I switched to using ufw with the help of this post: Ubuntu 18.04 as a router. I reinstalled ifupdown and am using that for static IP on wlan0. I have a working wireless network that I can join, and it assigns me an appropriate IP. I can ping the gateway, and I can even ping known IPs on the other side of the network (i.e. the gateway of the internet side). The problem is if I try to ping something beyond that. I get host unreachable from the local gateway. Basically it doesn’t seem to have a default route to the rest of the internet if it isn’t directly attached. Here’s some bits I figure you guys will probably ask for:

root@ubuntu:~# ufw status verbose Status: active Logging: on (low) Default: deny (incoming), allow (outgoing), allow (routed) New profiles: skip To Action From -- ------ ---- 22/tcp ALLOW IN Anywhere 443/tcp ALLOW IN Anywhere 32400/tcp ALLOW IN Anywhere Anywhere ALLOW IN 22/tcp (v6) ALLOW IN Anywhere (v6) 443/tcp (v6) ALLOW IN Anywhere (v6) 32400/tcp (v6) ALLOW IN Anywhere (v6)

additions to /etc/ufw/before.rules

#NAT Table Rules *nat :POSTROUTING ACCEPT [0:0] #Forward traffic from wlan0 through eth0. -A POSTROUTING -s -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE COMMIT

Prove that “Finishing the degree in three years” problem is NP-Complete

I was asked in an interview the following question: We’ll define the “Finishing the degree in three years” problem in the following manner: Given a list of courses C={c1, c2,…, cn}, where every course ci∈C is given a list Ri⊆C of the precondition courses for this course, and also we are given the maximal amount of courses in each year m1, m2, m3, and we need to decide if it is possible to finish the degree in three years. Meaning, can we divide the courses for three years Y1, Y2, Y3 ⊆ C, such that the following conditions are satisfied: 1) All courses are studied within 3 years: Y1∪Y2∪Y3=C. 2) Each courses is studied only after all of its precondition courses have been studied. meaning: for any ci∈Y1: Ri⊆Ø, for any ci∈Y2: Ri⊆Y1, for any ci∈Y3: Ri⊆Y1∪Y2. 3) The number of courses studied in each year is not higher than maximum allowed. Meaning: |Yi|<=mi for each i∈{1,2,3}. Prove that the Finishing the degree in three years problem is NP-Complete.

I was told that the reduction should be from the clique problem but it has been a week since I’ve started thinking about it and I couldn’t prove it. If someone can please post a thorough solution I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks for your help!

Tar is not Finishing When Running as Cronjob

My goal is to regularly pack the most important files on a server into a tar.gz file. In order to automate this I am using a cronjob to execute a script:

$   crontab -l # blablabla * * * * * /home/backup/run_backup.sh >> /home/backup/output.txt

For debugging reasons, I am currently running the job every minute.

As far as I can judge, it is not a cron problem, since the job executes every minute and runs as root (whoami in the script prints root).

The script that is running looks as follows:

#!/bin/sh -l  echo "Starting ..."  DATE=`date '+%Y-%m-%d_%H-%M-%S'` BACKUP_PATH="backups/$  DATE.tar.gz"  # MAKE BACKUP OF ENTIRE DATABASE echo "Backing up database ..." DATABASE_BACKUP_PATH="/home/backup/mysql.sql" docker exec central-mysql sh -c 'exec mysqldump --all-databases -uroot -p"xxx"' > "$  DATABASE_BACKUP_PATH"  # MAKE ARCHIVE echo "Creating tar archive ..." tar -vczf "$  BACKUP_PATH" \         /home/database/docker-compose.yml \         /home/docker_res_usage.sh \         /home/gitlab/docker-compose.yml \         /home/gitlab/data/git-data/repositories \         /home/mailserver/docker-compose.yml \         /home/mailserver/mail/dkim \         /home/mailserver/rainloop/_data_/_default_/configs/application.ini \         /home/mailserver/rainloop/_data_/_default_/domains \         /home/mailserver/readme.md \         /home/php7-apache-alpine \         /home/sftp \         /home/traefik \         /home/websites \         "$  DATABASE_BACKUP_PATH"  # CLEAN-UP echo "Cleaning up ..." rm "$  DATABASE_BACKUP_PATH"

The docker command runs without problem, creating a .sql file. However, the tar command starts to list the first few files, and then just stops somehow. output.txt looks like this:

Cleaning up ... Starting ... Backing up database ... Creating tar archive ... /home/database/docker-compose.yml /home/docker_res_usage.sh /home/gitlab/docker-compose.yml /home/gitlab/data/git-data/repositories/ /home/gitlab/data/git-data/repositories/websites/ /home/gitlab/data/git-data/repositories/websites/sbpp.git/ /home/gitlab/data/git-data/repositories/websites/sbpp.git/config /home/gitlab/data/git-data/repositories/websites/sbpp.git/HEAD /home/gitlab/data/git-data/repositories/websites/sbpp.git/hooks /home/gitlab/data/git-data/repositories/websites/sbpp.git/info/ /home/gitlab/data/git-data/repositories/websites/sbpp.git/info/exclude Cleaning up ...

Question: Are there known reasons for tar to just stop compressing? Do you see errors in my script?

The strange thing about it is that when I run the script manually, it works just fine. Is it a cronjob thing after all? Do I have permission problems, even though I am running as root?
