Can the extra die from Orcish Fury be re-rolled with Great Weapon Fighting?

For things like Sneak Attack and Orcish Fury I know that they can be doubled on Crits per Crawford here.

We also know that only Weapon Damage dice can be rerolled with GWF. So, Sneak Attack or Smite would not get rerolled with GWF while standard weapon dice and the weapon’s critical dice can be re-rolled. For Orcish Fury it seems to me that it uses the appropriate phrasing for weapon dice similarly to the half Orc racial feature or Barbarian’s Brutal Critical and could thus be re-rolled with Great Weapon Fighting, no?

So, if we look at abilities like the Half-Orc racial feature which adds an extra weapon die on Crit and features like Barbarian’s Brutal Critical it seems to me that these could be rerolled with GWF since they use the phrasing of “adding another weapon dice” (normally Barb’s couldn’t get Great Weapon Fighting but now it’s possible via Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything and the Fighting Initiate feat).

For example:

You can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit

from the Half Orc feature and:

you can roll one additional weapon damage die when determining the extra damage for a critical hit with a melee Attack

for Brutal Critical.

This phrasing seems very similar to the Orcish Fury phrasing which says:

When you hit with an attack made with a simple or martial weapon, you can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice an additional time and add it as extra damage of the weapon’s damage type.

My bet would be yes you can reroll the Orcish Fury Die with Great Weapon Fighting since it reads like we’re adding another weapon die and the phrasing is very similar to the half Orc feature. Have I got that right?

what is great fortitude or even fortitude specifically in rpg games, playing low magic age which has this

I find fortitude confusing, do not know whether or not it is good, bad whatever. I did look up what fortitude is and the explanation is more than confusing. I did also look up What happens if Fortitude sinks to 0? as well as https://rpg.stackexchange.com/search?q=fortitude . The game itself seems to be dnd-inspired, at least according to the developers and the people who are talking about it. Low Magic home page.

According to some it is more preferable that I talk or ask about fortitude in D&D. I haven’t ever played a paper-and-pen rpg so don’t really know.

From what I gathered from other people is that the game uses D&D 3.5e and uses ‘evolved OGL rules’ made by wizards of coast.

Do the different wordings of the Great Weapon Fighting style printed in the PHB cause them to function differently?

I had a question about ‘Great Weapon Fighting’ as it applied to Paladins, which lead me here: Does Great Weapon Fighting apply to Superiority Die rolls? During my research. While the answer cleared up my original question, I have a follow up question.

First, my question: When rolling for Great Weapon Fighting style as a Paladin, does the differentiation detailed below mean I can continue to re-roll all 1’s and 2’s until I get a 3 or higher?

Secondly, the differentiation: I noticed there is a variance between the Great Weapon Fighting entry in the Fighter listing on PHB pg 72 :

When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can re-roll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must…

Emphasis on the differentiation from the entry, of the same Great Weapon Fighting style, found in the Paladin listing on PHB pg 84 :

When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll. [missing] The weapon must…

This particular entry is missing the crucial “even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2.” This particular entry says, you may reroll any 1’s or 2’s and must use the new roll period .

This is more than likely a typo, as some do exist in the version of the PHB I have when it first came out. If anyone has any errata/newer versions of the PHB and can see if the full entry exists under Paladin please let me know in comments or in your answer should you submit one.

Does Great Weapon Fighting allow the SRD version of a Vicious Weapon’s 2d6 bonus to be rerolled? [duplicate]

Does Great Weapon Fighting style allow Vicious weapons 2d6 bonus to be rerolled? Is it considered weapon damage? I know similar questions have been asked but need to know for this exact circumstance.

(Note: this question concerns the SRD version of a Vicious Weapon. The Vicious Weapon published in the Dungeon Master’s Guide adds a flat 7 damage, rather than 2d6)

How do I model the fighter’s Great Weapon Fighting fighting style in Anydice?

I was trying to create an AnyDice function to model the Great Weapon Fighting fighting style (which lets you reroll 1s and 2s), but I couldn’t get it to work on any arbitrary dice.

I’ve found this one:

function: reroll R:n under N:n { if R < N { result: d12 } else {result: R} } output [reroll 1d12 under 3] named "greataxe weapon fighting"

And it works fine. But I don’t know how to make the function generic so i don’t need to change the d12 every time i want a different dice to reroll.

I’ve tried

function: reroll R:n under N:n { if R < N { result: d{1..R} } else {result: R} } output [reroll 1d12 under 3] named "greataxe weapon fighting"

but it is not giving the right probabilities. Maybe if I could fetch the die size inside the function…
