Formulário HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Angular2 e .NET

Oi gente tudo bem?

Is it possible to implement an animated nav “Toolbox” UI with hover/click image maps within HTML5 for an email ad?

In theory, I have wire-framed a “toolbar” navigation box (Nav overlay w/ animation) that will allow user to hover and click categories within a set of topics – and upon selection- a static display box with useful information opens to the right. This display box includes relative information to image links to blogs, resources, etc. from the e-mail advertisement.

I understand the limitations of HTML5 within e-mail marketing, but I am familiar with image mapping and available hover qualities that exist. Yet, I am unfamiliar with the possibilities of making an animated sidebar navigation UI in bottom-fold content. My client really wants to make this happen, and I am unsure how to make this deliverable.

My apologies if the wording of my question is difficult to understand- I am brand new to this site and I am unsure how to dictate my problem in the most effective way – I have provided an image of my UI above. Thanks for your help.

Force Media Web Part to use HTML5 version

Is it possible to force the media web part to use the HTML5 version and never use the Silverlight version?

I’ve embedded videos to a page, and about ten minutes after I embedded them, the media web part would only load the Silverlight version. Most of our users will be on Chrome or Firefox, so using Silverlight isn’t an option.

If it’s not possible to force the media web part to use HTML5, is there a workaround?

I tried inserting a script:

<video poster="/path/to/SiteAssets/file/poster.png" width="320" height="200" controls="true"> <source src="/path/to/SiteAssets/file/video.mp4"> </video>

But the controls don’t fully load. Only the play button shows, it’s grayed out, and the video won’t play. I tested the code on a new html file to make sure I had it correct, and it functioned fine in that.

I haven’t added any custom Javascript libraries (like jQuery) to my SharePoint site. I’m trying to avoid making any modifications to SharePoint’s code, but if it’s not possible to embed a video with the <video> tag by conventional means, then I’m willing to do it.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I’m on SharePoint Online.

Edit #2: After reading this question and top answer: How to implement HTML5 Video in Sharepoint 2010? I checked to see if my SharePoint site was loading HTML5 or HTML4. It’s loading XHTML 1. That would explain why the <video> tag is not working. I’m going to research if there are any negative side effects of switching SharePoint to HTML5, but I think that’s the route I’ll go. I tried adding the XHTML definition to my sample HTML file and the <video> tag loaded fine. So I know it’s possible to use it in SharePoint Online, it’s just not working for some reason.

How do HTML5 DRM addons protect their output?

HTML5 has a DRM framework Encrypted Media Extensions (EME), that allows DRM companies to create content decryption modules (CDM) to decrypt DRM protected content. Browsers should use a sandbox to run the CDM, so that security holes that allow access to the computer are not as dangerous as it was when Flash was used for DRM. Furthermore it is a plugin concept, that allows more companies to provide modules for different forms of DRM, so that competition is enabled.

But when there is a standardized API for modules and the modules themself run in a sandbox (and thus have limited ability to modify the system to protect themself), how can they protect the output stream? The site sends encrypted data, that goes into the CDM, and then the CDM plays a video using a standard API inside the browser. How does the CDM avoid, that I patch the API to dump the stream to the disk instead of playing the video?

For example the widevine CDM provided by Google seems to link against ffmpeg. What would happen, when somebody starts grabbing the data that goes into the decoder in the ffmpeg library? Then the attacker could store the video stream (probably some MP4 format). Another option would be to grab the output of the decoder and save raw video data.

How does the CDM protect its output?

I am aware, that Netflix in Full HD does not use this mechanism, but relies on a trusted media path, thus requiring Windows 10 (I guess booted with secure boot), a recent Intel processor and a HDCP capable monitor, so the trust chain is never broken. But most other DRM video uses EME with one of the common CDMs.

Sound not working in HTML5 App using Monaca [on hold]

Im creating an APP using Monaca. It’s an Construct2 game. It builds ok but the sounds dont work when I tried using a tablet with Android 4.4. I have test it on an Android 5 and beyond and it works ok.

Does anyone know what can we do or test another form of build the APK? So far I have tried Adobe PhoneGap, Cordova via CLI and Monaca.

Monaca got the best result as of time of compilation!.

Clear HTML5 storage in Samsung Internet?

I have a problem using Samsung Internet Mobile Browser on my NoteFE running non-rooted Android 8.0.

Some websites (like use – what I suppose – HTML5 to store data/files offline somewhere. To access the downloaded data as file, Samsung Internet then copies the download from the internal storage to a normal file. This looks like a download, but the data is already in some kind of cache. Chrome does the same, also on PC.

Now, it seems like Samsung Internet doesn’t delete this background data. However, looking at app details, I see “data” (not “cache”!) growing with each download, filling up my phones memory. It’s already a couple of GB in size.

How do I reclaim this space? Only option seems to be to ‘clear data’, which includes all bookmarks, site info, and what not.
