How do I rescale tick marks on a plot?

I am working with an external “number-crunching” application that generates radiation patterns for antennas. The data that I am working with is a function of spherical angles theta and phi and it produces numbers in the range of 0 through some maximum value. I want to plot using PolarPlot to show a “scaled” tick mark where the scaling is the result of some function that I write to do the proper transformation. So, here is an example [below, phi is controlled externally and sometimes via Manipulate[]).

PolarPlot[  gdb[180/Pi (Abs[Pi/2 - theta]), phi], {theta, 0, Pi},   PolarAxes -> True, PolarTicks -> {"Degrees", Automatic},   PolarGridLines -> Automatic, PlotRangeClipping -> False,   PolarAxesOrigin -> Automatic]

And, this is the resultant plot: PolarPlot

Now, the PolarAxesOrigin with the Automatic assignment generates the axes labeled from 20 thru the maximum of 80. However, for this same plot, the only change I want (in this example) is to scale that axes tick mark labels as 0.0 for the 80 tick mark label and then the inner concentric circles would be -10, -20, -30, -40, and so on. Thus, the labeling are all negative numbers with zero as the maximum range on the PolarAxesOrigin.

I have researched various posted questions here and experimented using scaling features, tick functions, and other things (merely guessing) to figure out how to achieve this and nothing works right. I am hoping that I can provide some kind of function that can do a transformation from the plotted values to some scaled tick mark labels. Changing the data itself to be negative does not work, the resultant plot is not correct.

Writing an sql query for name of the youngest student(s) from the ‘Computer Science’ department along with the total marks obtained by him (them).”

I have been given a table of students data and I have to write query for the following:

Retrieve the name of the youngest student(s) from the ‘Computer Science’ department along with the total marks obtained by him (them).

The database schema are as follows:

depts( deptcode char(3) primary key, deptname char(70) not null);
students( rollno number(2) primary key, name varchar(50), bdate date check(bdate < TO_DATE('2004-01-01','YYYY-MM-DD')), deptcode char(3) references depts(deptcode) on delete cascade, hostel number check(hostel<20), parent_inc number(8,1));
crs_regd( crs_rollno number(2) references students(rollno) on delete cascade, on delete cascade, marks number(5,2), primary key(crs_rollno));

I wrote the query as

select name, bdate, sum(marks) from students s inner join crs_regd c on s.rollno=c.crs_rollno inner join ( select name, min(bdate) as bdate from students st, depts d where st.deptcode=d.deptcode and d.deptname="Computer Science") x on x.name=s.name and x.bdate=s.bdate;

but it gives the error as identifier is too long in the line

where st.deptcode=d.deptcode and d.deptname="Computer Science") x

I think the problem is in joining the join of two tables with already joined two tables as the error points out. Correct me if I am wrong. If the query is incorrect please inform.

Also, if there is a way to write this query please discuss. If any other information needed please drop a comment below.

How the fastest Spanish keyboard users type accent marks and Spanish-specific characters

Wondering what a proficient, super skilled Spanish text/copy editor individual does to type accents like á and tilde’s like ñ. Wondering if they, on a Mac, would use the popup that appears if you hold a character (which seems slow for a fast typer). Or if they use the built-in keyboard shortcuts for Mac or Windows (like alt+e for ´ on Mac). Or if they use vim or some other specialized text editor. Or perhaps a custom virtual keyboard overlay, which just maps the keys to something specifically useful to Spanish. Or maybe it’s completely different from these options. Basically am interested to know how one does it in a way that isn’t annoying like it is on the standard Mac keyboard, either with the popup or the alt codes.

how can i add student marks and table appearance using php

every thing is added successfully in the result table but the appearance of the result table in the phpmyadmin is quite different to what i expected once i added the the marks, student_code, subject_code and subject_name I have six subject, what i expected is every student should have all his/her marks in only one column. what i get now is this

 student_code   subject_code       subject_name             marks     01           01                  Kiswahili                  50     01           02                  English                    50     01           03                  Hisabati                   40     01           04                  Huji                       44     01           05                  Stadi Za Kazi              36     01           06                  Sayansi                    42

but i want to get this in phpmyadmin

You can see here every student all of his/her marks are in one column, unlike above

STUDENT_CODE    KISWAHILI   ENGLISH HISABATI    HUJI    STADI ZA KAZI   SAYANSI 1                   50          50      40       44          36           42 2                   48          46      36       46          44           42  3                   48          40      44       42          45           38 4                   50          50      36       44          40           38 5                   42          50      40       42          38           46

here is my result table structure

    1   student_code    varchar(250)                     2   subject_code    varchar(250)                 3   subject_name    varchar(250)                     4   marks   int(10)

here is my subject table with subject name and subject code already inserted

subject_code    subject_name 1                Kiswahili 2                English 3                Hisabati 4                Huji 5                Stadi Za Kazi 6                Sayansi

Also is there a way where by i can add marks for all six subject at once, instead of adding marks for one subject at a time and then submit and then take marks for another subject and then add, until all the marks for six subjects are complete and then take another student then do the same thing, i’m asking this, foristance you have 400 students and each student take all the six subjects, will it be possible to use a loop.

Smart list on mobile – friends don’t have check marks for their list

If person A is on a smart list on my computer (let’s say the smart list is called Baseball team), it appears to be fine. When using my iphone XR lately, if I click on Person A and then click on edit friend lists I see all the custom smart lists that I have, but none of them (including baseball team) have a check mark beside them. I used to be able to see which list they are included on from my phone, but I can’t do this for any of my friends now. I have to go to a computer to verify which smart list they are on. Please advise how to fix this?

Q: Is it Possible If I have a Column that marks a Job’s current Status/Progress to send a Weekly Email?

Rather than sending an email whenever an item is changed/created and the status is added/updated?

I have a list that has a list of jobs and a varying amount of variables that employees check off such as if it requires central notification or if it has a large investment. The Job status is essentially split between three columns one marking it ready for work (Yes/No) one marking it complete (Yes/No) and then a approval of the completion marking it as Approved/Rejected/Requires Review. I’ll outline the overall process below:

  1. Group 2 Reviews the List and determines if a Job is Ready to be Worked.
  2. Group 1 receives a email when the job is marked Ready for Work by Group 2.
  3. Group 1 then completes the work and marks it complete and Group 2 gets an email of the completion mark.
  4. Group 2 is then required to review and mark the completed job as Approved/Rejected/Requires Review.
  5. Once Group 2 marks it appropriately Group 1 is responsible for moving ahead with updating records or meeting with Group 2 on why it was Rejected or what portion of the task requires Review.

Now what I want is that rather than send the emails once every step is completed it sends a weekly “reminder” to both groups of what items (Job and Job ID) need to be done meaning they are somewhere in the steps I outlined above. (Group 1 notified that jobs x y z are workable and group 2 receiving emails that job x y z has been worked and needs approval.

Why are some characters in German and Polish showing up as Question marks?

Long time, no post. :|
It seems as though it’s the “special” characters (that aren’t part of English) that have this issue.
They used to appear, intact.
These question marks that substitute for characters are now visible in both the Project view pane as well as in Test Screen.
Anyone can offer any help as to why this happened, and how this might be resolved?
Thanks.

Meu select:

<div id="escolha"> <form id="selectsfiltro">     <h6>Faixa Etaria:</h6>     <select id="FaixaEtaria" class="custom-select">         <option></option>         <option value="1">0-17</option>         <option value="2">18-25</option>         <option value="3">26-35</option>         <option value="4">36 ou mais</option>     </select>      <br/>     <br/>      <h6>Sexo:</h6>     <select id="Sexo" class="custom-select">         <option></option>         <option value="5">Masc</option>         <option value="6">Fem</option>     </select>      <br/>     <br/>     <h6>Recurso a arma:</h6>     <select id="RecursoArma" class="custom-select">         <option></option>         <option value="7">Sim</option>         <option value="8">Não</option>     </select>       <br/>     <br/>     <h6>Localidade:</h6>     <select id="Distrito" class="custom-select">         <option ></option>         <option value="9">Viana do Castelo</option>         <option value="10">Vila Real</option>         <option value="11">Bragança</option>         <option value="12">Braga</option>         <option value="13">Porto</option>         <option value="14">Aveiro</option>         <option value="15">Viseu</option>         <option value="16">Guarda</option>         <option value="17">Coimbra</option>         <option value="18">Castelo Branco</option>         <option value="19">Leiria</option>         <option value="20">Lisboa</option>         <option value="21">Santarém</option>         <option value="22">Portalegre</option>         <option value="23">Évora</option>         <option value="24">Setúbal</option>         <option value="25">Beja</option>         <option value="26">Faro</option>         <option value="27">Açores</option>         <option value="28">Madeira</option>     </select> </form>      <br/>     <br/>      <div class="botesdefiltrar">         <button id="btnBuscar" class="btn btn-outline-warning">Filtrar</button>         <button type="reset" id="btnLimpar" class="btn btn-outline-warning">Limpar Filtro</button>   </div>      </div>
