Popup alert even when a site deletes the alert function | bypass

A website fully filter the alert function from his website, and replace it with an empty string, but I want to bypass it and still popup an alert, I am trying to solve an XSS challenge, and I figure out that the site identify the double "l" char, and fully removes the string.

http://alertmywebsite.com/2.php?xss=<script>allert(1)</script>

the output is <script>allert(1)</script>, and when I remove the second "l", the output is <script></script>, Only the "l" is still showing the alert function, any other double char is fully removes the string How can I bypass it ?

Using built-in validation pop-up for custom fields

I am currently adding custom fields (by custom code) to the single product page in WooCommerce using the OceanWP theme. I was about to start custom validation to the fields when I noticed that the fields already had some validation and the result looks quite nice.

When the Add to Cart button is pressed and a field is invalid I get the following message pop-up: enter image description here

I’m not sure whether the warning popup is part of WordPress, WooCommerce or OceanWP.

My question is: can I can use this built-in warning popup for my own validation messages?

What’s the best position for a small Welcome popup in a website?

I have a website that is fairly complex for new users. We’re adding an overlay with help, which will be triggered by a small popup appearing somewhere in the page. This popup will just have two controls: Open Walkthrough, and Close.

I’m familiar wiht chat bubbles normally appearing in the bottom right corner.

Is there a similarly recommended position for a notification asking the user if they want to see the walkthough / need help?

Contact Form 7 inside Magnific Popup

I have contact form 7 inside magnific popup but when I click submit on contact form the popup closes because the page is refreshed.

 function openMagnificPopup() {     $  ('.btn--primary').on('click', function () {         $  .magnificPopup.open({             items: {                 src: $  ('#popup-form').html(),                 type: 'inline',                 closeBtnInside: true,                 modal: true,             },             closeOnBgClick: false,             callbacks: {                 open: function() {                   jQuery('body').addClass('noscroll');                 },                 close: function() {                   jQuery('body').removeClass('noscroll');                 }               }         });     }); }

I need to keep the popup opened when I submit the form.

How do I turn on popup blocker through terminal?

I’m trying to create a shell script to configure Firefox settings. I am currently trying to figure out how to turn on the popup blocker. Right now, I am adding the line user_pref("dom.disable_open_during_load", false); to the end of the prefs.js file. However, whenever I open Firefox, the popup blocker still isn’t turned on. How do I do this?

How to get a new mail alert notification popup for Postfix localhost mail in Ubuntu MATE 19.04

I have configured Postfix along with Mailutils to send and receive mails from localhost in Ubuntu MATE 19.04. I can read mails through terminal just fine.

Now how do I get new mail alert notification popups in system tray for incoming mails? Like upon a system boot and whenever new mail arrives afterwards. I’d like the notifications to stay there until dismissed. Many thanks.

Note: Just to be extra clear this setup is for “local only” mails.

Postfix version: 3.3.2-4 Mailutils version: 1:3.5-2build1

How to get value from popup window to parent window by clicking from database selection?

Originally it was like this and it worked until the crawlers no longer supported it, and even the return No. after the click I got there:

<scriptlanguage="JavaScript"type="text/javascript">var retVal=""var valReturned;function openModal(){
retVal=showModalDialog('stranky/modal.php');
valReturned=retVal;
document.getElementById("zakaznik").value=valReturned;}</script>…
