How to add thousand separator to the total amount

I am trying to make some code that does a simple calculation and produces an answer with commas, also known as thousand separators. I belive I need to use .toLocaleString(); but when i try to put this into my code, it does notwork for me. I am not sure what is going wrong. here is the working code without the thousand separators.

var total = (parseFloat(itemCost.replace(/,/g, '')) +  (parseFloat(itemCost.replace(/,/g, '')) * salesTax/100));   total = (total)  total = total.toFixed(2);  //display amount document.getElementById("totalTip").style.display = "block"; document.getElementById("amount").innerHTML = total;

Format double to 3 decimal places without decimal separator to a certain lenght

I need to format a double value to three decimal places to a string with length of 9 with leading spaces and no decimal separator.

My approach is this

NumberFormatInfo nfi = new NumberFormatInfo(); nfi.NumberDecimalSeparator = "a"; nfi.NumberGroupSeparator = "";  double a = 334.44554;  Console.WriteLine($  "{a.ToString("####0.000", nfi).Replace("a", ""), 9}");

Is there a more elegant way to do this?

Custom separator in Telerik ASP.NET MVC MultiSelect

As the items in the data source have comma (,) I am trying to set different separator for MultiSelect.

@(Html.Kendo().MultiSelect() .Name("ParamVal") .DataSource(source => {     source.Read(read =>     {         read.Action("GetValueList", "LvlFormulaMap").Data("loadValues");     })     .ServerFiltering(true); }) .Enable(false) .AutoBind(false) .NoDataTemplate("No values found") .AutoWidth(true) )

Below settings is not working,

$  (document).ready(function () {     $  ("#ParamVal").kendoMultiSelect({ separator: "|" }); });

Is there any way to set custom separator to MultiSelect?

Thanks.

Hashcat – separator unmatched running pmkid 16800 crack

I’m working on cracking a pmkid file. I have collected pcap file using bettercap.

Then convert using this:

hcxpcaptool -z bettercap-wifi-handshakes.pcap.pmkid bettercap-wifi-handshakes.pcap

They appear to convert:

summary: -------- file name....................: bettercap-wifi-handshakes.pcap file type....................: pcap 2.4 file hardware information....: unknown file os information..........: unknown file application information.: unknown network type.................: DLT_IEEE802_11_RADIO (127) endianness...................: little endian read errors..................: flawless packets inside...............: 185 skipped packets..............: 0 packets with GPS data........: 0 packets with FCS.............: 6 beacons (with ESSID inside)..: 7 probe responses..............: 6 EAPOL packets................: 172 EAPOL PMKIDs.................: 10 best handshakes..............: 5 (ap-less: 0) 4 PMKID(s) written to bettercap-wifi-handshakes.pcap.pmkid

I then try to run hashcat against it and it returns “separator unmatched” for all of my entries. This is a simple 2 digit test below. What is going on here?

hashcat -m16800 -a3 -w3 bettercap-wifi-handshakes.pcap.pmkid %d%d --force hashcat (v5.1.0-849-gcf8c815c) starting... Setting up decimal separator, thousand separator and date in Google Spreadsheets

Is there a way to change settings of decimal separator, thousand separator and date format in Google Sheets?

I would like to have:

  1. dots for decimal,
  2. space for thousand
  3. date in format YYYY-MM-DD.

It is easy to set it up in Microsoft Excel. Can it be done in Google Sheets? I know that Google Sheets has an option to change locale. Is there any locale that has all the settings I want?

separator unmatched [on hold]

I was running the following command hoping to run a dictionary with hashcat (worked with kali) on windows and use the GPU to see the speed differences.

(WPA2 handshake converted .cap file)

hashcat64.exe -m 16801 -a 0 C:\Users\m\handshake.hccapx C:\Users\m\wordlist.txt

however i get the following error:

Hashfile 'C:\Users\m\handshake.hccapx' on line 1 (HCPX): Separator unmatched Hashfile 'C:\Users\m\handshake.hccapx' on line 2 (Nravo-wifi): Separator unmatched Hashfile 'C:\Users\m\handshake.hccapx' on line 3 (): Separator unmatched Hashfile 'C:\Users\m\handshake.hccapx' on line 4 (Nravo-wifi): Separator unmatched Hashfile 'C:\Users\m\handshake.hccapx' on line 5 (): Separator unmatched Hashfile 'C:\Users\m\handshake.hccapx' on line 6 (Nravo-wifi): Separator unmatched _╠╬"^ñSù"9█èYâDäëy): Separator handshake.hccapx' on line 7 (AÅÿ≥╢N...▀8∞VU⌐F╡D Hashfile 'C:\Users\m\handshake.hccapx' on line 8 (): Separator unmatched No hashes loaded.

Am I typing the wrong command? should I change something in the file?

Add a separator between certain columns on New/Edit Form on SharePoint 2013 OOTB

I have the following modified version of Curtis Weir’s field hiding script from dmcinfo.com which I want to run using the SharePoint OOTB Script Editor:

 <script src="//code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.min.js"></script> <script> function SeparateFields() { //Enter the fields you would like to have a separator at the bottom here. fieldsToSeparate = ["Title","Document Type"] //Get all SharePoint fields var formFieldTitles = $ (".ms-formtable td.ms-formlabel h3.ms-standardheader"); //Iterate over each row in the form formFieldTitles.each(function () { //Get the text of the field title var textToMatch = $ (this).text(); //Get the table row associated with this title var currentRow = $ (this).closest('tr'); //Iterate over our list of fields we wish to separate for (var i = 0; i < fieldsToSeparate.length; i++){ var field = fieldsToSeparate[i]; //Match the SharePoint field name to our field name if (textToMatch.toLowerCase().replace("*", "").trim() === field.toLowerCase().replace("*", "").trim()){ //Separate this field $ (currentRow).css({border-bottom: "1px solid black"}) } } }); } function AddToBodyOnLoad(){ //Ensure that our function is called last by pushing it again _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("SeparateFields"); } //Add our function to the array of onload functions _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("AddToBodyOnLoad"); </script>

It works great if I want to hide a column, for example “Name” which is normally “blocked” and not editable.(by substituting $ (currentRow).css({border-bottom: "1px solid black"}) with $ (currentRow).hide(); and naming the variables appropriately.

What I need to do now is to change the style of certain columns like “Title” and “Document Type” to also contain a separator ( a line underneath them to separate section within a form. What I tried does not work at all. Could you please help me achieve this?

PS: I have found that the following code adds a bottom border line for every column in my form but this is outside the scope since I only need to separate certain columns:

   <style type="text/css">      #onetIDListForm .ms-formtable .ms-formlabel,     #onetIDListForm .ms-formtable .ms-formbody     {         border-bottom: 5px solid black;     </style>

PS2 : I cannot insert files in the assets lib. Can only use script editor web part.

PS3 : I am new to JS/CSS/HTML and have 0 experience in integrating such features in SharePoint
