WooCommerce – Get 10 Most Sold Products

I am trying to display the 10 most sold products on my website but I am not getting the right products. I am using the following code in order to get the relevant products:

$  query = new WP_Query(array(     'post_type'           => 'product',     'post_status'         => 'publish',     'posts_per_page'      => 10,     'meta_key'            => 'total_sales',     'orderby'             => 'meta_value_num',     'order'               => 'DESC', ));

When I check in WooCommerce --> Reports --> Orders --> By Product, it displays 10 different products than the products I get using the above code.

So I did a little experiment and using the following code I am printing the amount a product is sold:

echo "total_sales: " . get_post_meta( $  product_id, 'total_sales', true ) . "<br>";

This code returns a different value then the value in WooCommerce --> Reports --> Orders --> By Product. For example, I have a product with an id 555565 and in WooCommerce --> Reports --> Orders --> By Product it says there are 47 sales of this product while get_post_meta( $ product_id, 'total_sales', true ) returns 3.

Also I am using the following code (which I found on StackOverflow) in order to print all the orders which includes product 555565 and it turns out the product is included in 43 orders:

function get_orders_ids_by_product_id( $  product_id, $  order_status = array( 'wc-completed' ) ){ global $  wpdb;  $  results = $  wpdb->get_col("     SELECT order_items.order_id     FROM {$  wpdb->prefix}woocommerce_order_items as order_items     LEFT JOIN {$  wpdb->prefix}woocommerce_order_itemmeta as order_item_meta ON order_items.order_item_id = order_item_meta.order_item_id     LEFT JOIN {$  wpdb->posts} AS posts ON order_items.order_id = posts.ID     WHERE posts.post_type = 'shop_order'     AND posts.post_status IN ( '" . implode( "','", $  order_status ) . "' )     AND order_items.order_item_type = 'line_item'     AND order_item_meta.meta_key = '_product_id'     AND order_item_meta.meta_value = '$  product_id' ");  return $  results;

}

##To conclude##

I suspect something wrong with total_sales. If someone knows how to solve it, I will be grateful 🙂

If any more information is needed, please let me know and I will add it.

Are Darts sold separately?

This might sound like a silly question, but it seems oddly placed in the PHB.

Looking simply on what characters get regarding starting equipment, every item listed, regardless of class, seems to indicate they gain 1 unit found in the weapons list (save for 2 daggers or swords)… All except for the Monk that gains 10 Darts. While thrown like a javelin, the dart is the only item listed in the Simple Ranged Weapons list that is actually thrown and not projecting ranged ammunition, and unlike arrows and bolts, it does not indicate an amount in brackets, leading me to understand that a monk is the only class that gains 10 units of a weapon.

Again, I might have understood this clearly, but I can’t help shaking the feeling that I am missing something, so I’d like to verify this once and for all:

Is each dart sold individually for 5cp a shot? And does this mean that after a fight, the monk can go and reclaim all 10 of those darts undamaged like arrows?

Party Paladin sold his soul to an evil goddess. Is he getting a new template character now? (ie: dreadlord, blackguard, etc)

A pc died, and in an atempt to have his life spared, my group’s paladin decided to offer his soul after he had a talk with the spiritual form of Lolth. Lolth decided to bargain for a trade of his friend’s life back to normal in exchange for paladin’s soul. I don’t want to just make him go “evil” but I want to offer to him some form of template, much how a pc turns into vampire for example and gets extra new stuff from the vampire template.

I want ideas/assistance on giving him this “epic” template as a reward for this player’s bravery and selfless act of sacrifice.

Why do almost all international trains to Russia show as sold out?

Trying to book a train from Germany to Russia, the Russian railways seem to show all connections as sold out several months in advance. For example, Frankfurt-Moscow shows as sold out on 12 July, 19 July, 9 August, and only De Luxe Sleeping left on 26 July and 2 August, and unavailable on 16, 23, or 30 August, even though it should run on those days (it’s shown in HAFAS). Well, maybe it is sold out on those days, but I don’t believe it, considering it still has many empty places for tonights departure, which is less than 3 hours away. And even if I check Minsk-Moscow for 2 October, all connections are shown as sold out:

Minsk-Moscow, 2 October

I’m not planning on taking a local train from Minsk to Moscow, but in any case, I don’t believe that every single train from Minsk to Moscow is sold out 4 months in advance. It’s sold out on other days too, except for tickets on the train coming from Kaliningrad.

Am I missing a trick for booking international trains to Russia? I find it hard to believe (almost) all tickets for August and September are sold out, whether it being the Paris-Moscow, Berlin-Moscow, Warsaw-Moscow or even Minsk-Moscow trains. Is the Russian booking system buggy, or is there something going on with international trains? Domestic trains show up just fine.
