I like the right click and “edit as administrator” feature of 18.04.
I have been trying to install
nautilus-admin in 19.04.
nautilus-admin is listed in the Ubuntu 19.04 repositories.
When I try:
sudo apt-get install nautilus-admin I get
E: Unable to locate package nautilus-admin
I have downloaded the package 1.1.9-2 from launchpad.net.
I have had no luck installing it to 19.04 with Software.
If it is not working is there a substitute that allows right click edit as administrator?
Assuming the configuration hasn’t changed, how can I start troubleshooting? I woke up to not being able to ping IPv6 addresses.
Things to keep in mind:
- IP Address didn’t change. Public IP Address matches tunnelbroker.net
- My configuration looks exactly like this
- I can ping the tunnel endpoint 184.108.40.206
- Didn’t change firewall nor any configuration overnight
- Using Ubuntu server 19.04
This is the relevant firewall rule I have up for this configuration:e

How can I start troubleshooting? Rebooting always fixes the problem but it’s not an ideal solution because I have services on the router that need to have 100% uptime.
This is weird for me Select * from vw_xxxx is not showing any results for a certain ids and select from view working fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
select * from vw_clientdetails where clientid = 1234

create VIEW [dbo].vw_clientdetails as SELECT top 500 dbo.table1.Id, dbo.table1.SDA_Key where clientid = 1234
and if i run the select with in the View is working fine but not
select * from view
We are developing a workflow solution for Project Server 2019. I am developing a script to automatically deploy the solution. The solution is in a local WSP-file. So far I have the following little script:
$ cred = Get-Credential Connect-PnPOnline -Url https://server/sites/pwa001 -Credentials $ cred Install-PnPSolution -SourceFilePath C:\Dev\WorkflowDev\Workflows.wsp -PackageId $ id
The script runs through fine without any errors, but the solution is not being installed on the server. What am I missing?
I am working on creating a Kiosk using Chrome with no windows manager. The browser starts and displays the target page but the keyboard and mouse do not work. The mouse pointer moves but you cannot click on anything.
I installed Ubuntu 18.04.2 server with the legacy installer. I created a systemd service that runs the xinit as the kiosk user. The ExecStart is:
ExecStart=/usr/bin/xinit /opt/kiosk/kiosk.sh --
That script turns off screen blank etc, then runs Chrome:
DISPLAY=:0 /usr/bin/google-chrome-stable --kiosk --app=https://myurl
On boot, everything starts with no errors in /var/log or dmesg. Xorg is owned by root and the Chrome process is under the kiosk user. I have been trying to get this to work for almost 2 weeks. When I looked for this issue, I found a lot of old posts that do not appear to be relevant any longer and a lot of issues around laptops. This is a small form factor PC. I found some issues with NVDIAI drivers. But this has a Radeon GPU. I do not believe the issue is hardware related. There were several mentions of installing xserver-xorg-input-all. It was already installed. I did try re-installing it as some suggested. I have done a lot more troubleshooting. But after 2 weeks, I will have to apologize for not remembering everything.
In Chrome the mouse pointer moves. But, you cannot interact or, as best as I can tell, get focus on Chrome. I cannot switch into the application or switch to a console (logging in via ssh). I swapped out starting Chrome to starting an xterm. The xterm gets focus and if I very slowly, it will enter characters from the keyboard. If I type at a normal speed, the keyboard stops working after 4 characters. This seems rather bizarre to me and at this point, I am at a loss to understand what is going on. Any help greatly appreciated.
In my HP dk0051TX Gaming laptop .I’m install fresh Ubuntu Latest version after installed Ubuntu mouse and touch pad not working , sometimes shows error kernel not responding and crash window. I’m also try with (Mint, Cent OS and Ubuntu older versions). how to solve this issue.
Thanks in Advance
I have started using Lubuntu recently on my laptop to lengthen its lifespan (the machine is kinda old and Windows was crashing on a regular basis) but now I’m having a very hard time with wi-fi. Wired connections work just fine, but recently my modem had problems and I tried to use my phone as hotspot but the pc won’t collaborate.
My laptop is an HP and it has a Realtek RTL8723BE. In the beginning it recognized WiFi connections, it connected (allegedly), but it didn’t actually work. I went to my friend’s house and used his Ethernet connection, looked online for solutions (like I did for setting up Bluetooth and other things), and tried them (some of them were directing to dead GitHub branches, but whatever).
What I have obtained is that my pc now doesn’t even list WiFi connections anymore (lol). Wired connections still work tho.
I’m writing from my phone now. Can someone please guide me step by step to solve this problem? I know how to open the terminal, insert commands, intall things etc. but I’m afraid that this time things are a little more complicated.
I built a host last night, but my installs today are failing, with a “no kernel modules were found” message at the “Download installer components” stage. I see that there have been a lot of updates today, but I can’t see any new boot images. Is that an oversight? Is the net build working for anybody else?

I’ve upgraded kernels in Ubuntu several times using
This time I faced an issue with the wifi card. After reading several posts I followed what seemed to have worked for several people: reinstalling
bcmwl-kernel-source. That’s what I did:
sudo apt install bcmwl-kernel-source Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... However I’m getting this error I really do not know what to do. My previous kernel is
5.0.1 and it’s working nicely.
This is my hard output …

Hello everyone and thanks in advance!
I’m trying to extend my local LAN network via WIFI and would like all devices in the same network. The setup is as follows:
- DHCP/DNS server running inside the LAN
- separate PC linked to the LAN, with WIFI capability (sadly it’s not an option, to have the DHCP/DNS server running on this machine)
Since I’m running Ubuntu 18.04, I’m trying to use netplan to set everything up. Here’s my conf file:
network: version: 2 renderer: NetworkManager ethernets: enp2s0: dhcp4: no addresses: [192.168.1.10/24] gateway: 192.168.1.1 nameservers: addresses: [192.168.1.2, 22.214.171.124, 126.96.36.199] wifis: wlp1s0: access-points: "MyWifi": mode: ap password: "DONTLOOK" bridges: br0: dhcp4: yes interfaces: [enp2s0, wlp1s0]
Now, running the two network separately, i.e without the bridges section, everything works. With dnsmasq activated I can connect to the access point.
However I can’t seem to get the bridge working. Even worse is, as soon as the bridge gets activated access to the AP is no longer possible.
Does anybody have an idea, what I’m missing?
