wifi not working with 18.04.02

yesterday my machine (ASUS E200H) upgraded to 18.04.02 and now the wifi doesn’t work. I’ve tried following just about every instruction and still no joy. I’ve been for 10 hours now. Bluetooth works, which is how I’m connected just now.
